Cameron's Final project is a group project with his fellow student Ryan. In this project Cameron and Ryan both combine there skills to create a shot sequence based in a near future city where a retired battle mech has reactivated and is chasing down the protagonist. They use 3D models and live action footage to create this piece.
Cameron used Maya and substance painter through out his project. He has good knowledge within Visual effects and used his skills to model, texture, rig and animated assets. His main focus was on the 3D assets and texturing as he is a 3d modeller artist with the ambition to become a creature modeller artist. The mech he created was used as the main hero asset of the project. Cameron rigged the Mech so it can be animated. Cameron also modelled the buildings within the scene with the buildings being used to created the city environment for the project
Ryan used live action shots to comp into the 3d Environment to give it a better sense of realism. They both created a project that would challenge both there skills and combine them together. Both there skills complimented each other very well.
