Collaboration assignment
For the collaboration assignment we thought that using sound from the sound and post course would go very well with our final piece. These students however needed to understand what our project was about so they could figure out if our project works well with there skills. So my and my partner filled out the sheet above so the sound and post could take a look and understand what the project entailed.
The sound and prep student who decided to create the sound for are project was Callum Forrest. He was very happy and excited to take up the project.
Communication With Callum - from Audio post course
I spoke to Calum on LinkedIn to Keep him updated and in the circle of our project development. We original sent him early pre vis of our project however in the end we just sent him the final piece and he did the sound from that.
Final Piece with sound
The sounds from the mech is all the work of Calum. It really adds a lot of life to project. It was great working with Calum and he produced some great work for our project.
50s Gangster Project
In this project I worked with Alex and Ryan to create a opening scene for a gangster film.
50s Café Chair
I created these café style chairs. I created the seat with two squares at the base. Then used smoothed cubes to create the padded back. These where used to pack the cafe out.
Café Stool
I also created this café stool to go with the chairs I made. I created it with multiple cylinders which manipulated into the stool.
I also created this 50s style street lamp. This one actually took me a long time to make due to the fact it had a lot of separate parts I had to model. The top light bit is one one part, the pole is another and finally the mid decoration part is another model.

#Love UWL
I worked in a group with Ryan and a student from Ad and PR and our task was to come up with an idea for a way to get the hashtag "Love UWL" out to more people.
We where competing with other groups and the best idea would be potentially used and the winner would win a prize. Our group used the Humans of new York campaign as reference and wanted to do a similar thing. My role was to get reference images of the humans of new yok book.
Our Idea was liked by a lot of the tutors and our group ended up winning.
